Fabricant américain de composants et de sous-systèmes électroniques pour les marchés de la communication et de la défense, Communications & Power Industries (CPI) a conclu le 5 août un accord portant sur l’acquisition de Satcom Technologies, l’activité systèmes d’antennes de de General Dynamics. Satcom conçoit des systèmes d’antennes de communications par satellite, ainsi que composants radioélectriques connexes, notamment des composants d’alimentation, des amplificateurs, des convertisseurs, etc.

Communications & Power Industries (CPI) has entered into an agreement to purchase Satcom Technologies, the antenna systems business of General Dynamics Mission Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics.

Satcom Technologies designs, manufactures and installs satellite communications antenna systems used in commercial, defense and scientific applications, as well as provides related radio frequency products and electronics, including feed components, amplifiers, converters, antenna control systems, and engineering and installation services.  This business will complement CPI’s existing portfolio of communications products for government, military and commercial applications.
